Examined current environmental and land-use circumstances and policies in the Sierra Occidental of Jalisco, Mexico. Through in-depth interviews and field surveys and detailed policy analysis, the study explored landowner’s perceptions about environmental change, and existing and proposed strategies to improve resource conservation in the region.
